Hello, My name is Dalyn Pacheco-Smith. I received my degrees from University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and University of San Francisco. At the University of San Francisco, I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapy. Working with and supporting the well-being of college students, both undergraduate and graduate, is a passion that I have worked toward and I am grateful for the opportunity to do so.
In college, there are so many experiences, feelings, emotions, events, and stressors that occur. I strive to create a comfortable, attentive, and empathetic space for you to process these things. I use a holistic and client-centered approach. My focus is on establishing rapport, creating goals and visions you have for yourself, as well as building insight and helping you manage stressors. My purpose is to assist you in facilitating your own change and highlight your strengths to promote growth, well-being, and healing.
